1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of Katheris in Telegram, on iPhone, on Android and on the web (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Katheris does

Katheris helps you log physical and mental symptoms, take the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 questionnaires, keep a CBT thought diary (including by voice), note your daily routine, use breathing and grounding practices, and share read-only reports with a specialist through a private link.

Voice notes are transcribed automatically and organised into a diary entry with the help of AI. In Telegram you review each entry before it is saved; in the app it is saved directly and you can delete it. Automatic transcription and interpretation can contain mistakes.

3. Not medical advice

Questionnaire scores are screening tools, not a diagnosis. Charts and trends reflect only what you enter. Practices in the app are general wellbeing exercises and are not a substitute for professional care.

Use the Service alongside, not instead of, help from qualified professionals. Seek urgent help if your condition gets worse.

4. Who can use Katheris

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

By using the Service, you also confirm that you have been examined by a doctor, psychiatrist or psychotherapist and have a diagnosed mental health condition.

5. Your account

You sign in with Telegram or with your email address. Keep access to your Telegram account and email secure, because anyone with that access can open your data in Katheris. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

6. Free plan and paid features

Katheris is free to use. The free plan has limits, for example on the length of a voice diary entry and on the number of symptoms you can track at the same time. The app shows these limits when you reach them.

Katheris Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store and Google Play. It raises the free limits and lets you share your charts with a doctor by link. The price is shown in the app before you buy and is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm.

The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store account settings or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting your Katheris account doesn’t cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for anything unlawful, do not try to access other people’s data, do not interfere with the Service or its security, and do not use automated means to extract data from it. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Your content

Your symptoms, test answers, diary entries and other records belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

When you create a share link, anyone who has that link can view the report it contains. You decide whom to send it to, and you can stop sharing at any time.

9. Comments on symptoms

You can publish comments about your own experience with a symptom. Comments are visible to all Katheris users. Instead of your name, other users see only a short anonymous user ID. Do not include your name, contact details or other information that could identify you or someone else.

Comments are the personal opinions of users. Katheris does not check them medically, and they are not medical advice. Do not post instructions on medication doses or changes to treatment, advertising, insults, or content that encourages harming yourself or others.

Any user can report a comment. A comment that receives more than three reports is hidden automatically. We may also remove comments and restrict commenting for accounts that break these rules. You can delete your own comments at any time.

By publishing a comment, you allow us to show it to other users within the Service for as long as it is published.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Katheris available and accurate, but the Service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable, change or contain errors. We may add, change or remove features.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Katheris is not liable for decisions you make based on the Service or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Katheris at any time. To delete your account and all your data, write to us at support@katherisapp.com from the email linked to your account or tell us your Telegram username.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or on this page before they take effect. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated.
